Anery Kenyan Sand Boa (Gongylophis colubrinus)

Sand boas are small, burrowing snakes that stay hidden under the substrate with just their heads poking out. They are calm, easy to handle, and make great pets for beginners.

Enclosure: 10–20 gallon tank with deep, loose bedding for burrowing.

Temperature: Warm side 90–95°F, cool side 75–80°F.

Diet: Eat appropriately sized mice (frozen/thawed recommended).

Water: Small dish with fresh water daily.

Handling: Gentle, easy to care for, and long-lived (15+ years).
